“Cinderella,” an original musical, was performed in March and April of 2022, in the newly-built, state-of-the-art Allen J. Levine Performing Arts Theater Center Stage of the Jewish Community Center in Omaha, NE.
“Cinderella,” was One For All Musical Theater’s fifth anniversary celebration performance, capturing the audience’s gaze, as they were catching the sail, and feeling the breeze of this beautiful, whimsical, all-original Broadway-like musical production, taking them to heights of fairytale magic … the stuff dreams are made of.
From continuing the organization’s tradition of including live animals in the performances, to never settling for anything less than the best and most beautiful props, the most exotic and colorful costumes, and of course, the famous 18-foot diameter, double-tiered revolving stage, to a one-of-a-kind, pre-lit, massive, functional, moving carriage, this beloved fairytale that has been told for many generations over, once again, came alive, in all its sparkling thunderous magic, filled with beautiful, humorous and whimsical music throughout.
The cast and crew were massive and they, and the beautiful, massive sets, demanded much attention to careful planning and detail. Dancers and students from American Midwest Ballet brought much passion to the stage. Many varied styles of music were performed by some of the best actors, musicians and dancers in the Omaha area, accompanied by beautiful recordings throughout.
All ages enjoyed this beloved childhood fairytale, told by some of the best storytellers around, through acting, singing, and dancing, and it didn’t matter at what age they were. Their gifts came alive on the stage as Someone was watching and blessed us all, weaving His magic throughout. A true family experience, inside and out!
